The Bridge of the Diamond Princess is one of the most advanced in the world.  It is similar in design to an aircraft's cockpit with the watch officers sitting side by side, the controlling officer, sitting in the left hand seat.

The integrated bridge allows all the ship's controls, navigation and track monitoring to be controlled by computers from the center position, with all safety and engine systems also monitored on adjacent screens.

The NACOST Track Pilot System can hold Diamong Princess to within 10 meters of her programmed track using data from GPS Navigational Satellites.

With prediction and past track data available and the latest traffic avoidance and navigation radar, Diamond Princess has the ability to safely navigate an any weather, around the world.
